Honorary

Honorary membership is granted by the Board of Directors rather than through a public application.

  • Granted at the Board’s discretion
  • No public application form
  • No voting rights at general meetings

Do I need to be a musician?

No for General membership. Premium membership is specifically for musicians, composers, singers, music teachers and tutors.

What happens after I apply?

Your application remains pending while the Board of Directors reviews it. IHOM will notify you by email when it is approved or rejected. If approved, that email explains how to choose your account password.

When do I become a member?

After Board approval, completion of any applicable fee, and entry in the member register. No payment is collected in the application form; IHOM sends separate payment instructions when a fee applies.
